My interest in holistic medicine and complementary therapies was stimulated in the 1970’s after reading a book about Findhorn (the spiritual and educational centre near Inverness, Scotland, where giant cabbages were grown in the sand dunes).  It was also around this time that as interest began to grow in natural therapies, astronomers discovered Chiron, a small planet which astrologers say is linked with healing and transformation. 

I gained a teaching certificate enabling me to teach in adult education and introduced complementary therapies at many centres around Greater Manchester from around 1984 - 1998, also practising reflexology at a progressive Doctor’s surgery where complementary therapies were, for a time, available on the NHS.  

I then taught in Further Education for another eight years, teaching about the holistic approach, reflexology, and flower essences to adult students, many of whom are now in practice in the Manchester area.

In 2006 I left further education to build up my practise, write and create workshops that empower people to become happier and healthier using holistic therapies.
